Your profile and language

Your profile is how the rest of the team sees you in Wyroo. Your name and photo show up on the cards you are assigned, next to your comments, and in the team list. This page also lets you pick the language the app speaks to you, so you can read Wyroo in the language you are most comfortable with.

A card is a single task on a project board. A project is one building or interior job you run in Wyroo.

What you can change here

In your profile settings you can update:

• Your name, the one everyone sees on cards and comments.
• Your profile photo, so people can spot you at a glance.
• Your email address, which is also how you sign in.
• Your job title, for example “Project lead” or “Site foreman”.
• Your phone number, which the field tidies up as you type.
• Your LinkedIn address, if you want to share it.
• Your preferred language, chosen from six options.

You reach these settings from your account menu. Look for Profile in your settings.

How to update your name, job title and contact details

1. Open your profile settings.
2. Change your name in the name field.
3. Fill in your job title. This is optional, but it helps people know who does what.
4. Type your phone number. The field formats it for you as you go (see below).
5. Add your LinkedIn address if you like.
6. Select Save. A short “Saved” message confirms it worked.

Tip: There is no separate “edit” button. The fields are always ready to type in, and nothing is stored until you select Save.

How the phone field works

You do not have to format your phone number yourself. As you type, Wyroo arranges the digits into a tidy pattern for you. If you type a local number that starts with a 0 (like 06 in the Netherlands), Wyroo turns it into the full international form for your country when you click away from the field. You can also type the international form yourself, starting with a plus sign and your country code (for example +49 for Germany).

The exact spacing depends on the country you are calling, which Wyroo works out from your number.

How to change your profile photo

1. Open your profile settings.
2. Click the round photo box, or drag an image file onto it.
3. Choose a JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF image up to 2 MB.

The photo uploads on its own, so there is no extra Save step for it. Until you add a photo, Wyroo shows your initials in a circle instead.

To take a photo back off:

1. Select Remove next to the photo box.
2. Your initials appear again in place of the picture.

How to change your email and verify it

Your email address is both how Wyroo reaches you and how you sign in, so it is worth keeping correct.

1. Open your profile settings.
2. Change the address in the email field.
3. Select Save.

When you change your email, Wyroo needs to confirm the new address is yours. Until you do, you will see a note that your email is unverified, with a Resend verification email link. Select that link, then open the email Wyroo sends and click the confirmation link inside it. A short message confirms the link is on its way.

Tip: If the verification email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder before resending.

How to change your language

Wyroo speaks six languages: English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Each person on the team can read the app in their own choice, so your language setting only changes things for you.

1. Open your profile settings.
2. Open the preferred language menu.
3. Pick your language from the list. Each one shows its flag.

The change takes effect right away. Wyroo reloads the page in your new language, and the emails it sends you arrive in that language too.
