Your dashboard
The dashboard is the first screen you see when you sign in. It is your starting point: a single page that gathers what needs your attention across every project you work on, so you do not have to open each one to find out what changed.
What you see on the dashboard
Section titled “What you see on the dashboard”The dashboard is built from a few stacked sections. Some only appear when there is something to show, so your page may be shorter or longer than a colleague’s.
- A greeting at the top. A short hello with your name, matched to the time of day where you are.
- My notes. Your own open notes (a note is a small personal reminder, just for you). The ones with a due date show first, soonest at the top, with overdue ones flagged. An item that belongs to a project shows that project’s name next to it.
- Favourites. The files and folders you have starred, across all your projects, newest star first. This section is hidden until you star something, so it never sits there empty.
- Activity. A live feed of what is happening on your boards. A board is the visual list of cards (tasks) for a project. The feed mixes card changes (created, moved between columns, assigned, closed, renamed, deadline set) with comments and file uploads. Each row says who did it, when, and on which project.
- Recent projects. Tiles for your three most recently created projects, the same tiles you see on the Projects page. Each tile shows the team and any cards assigned to you.
- A short stats overview. Three small charts covering roughly the last two weeks: new cards (work coming in), open cards (work still on the board right now), and overall board activity (the general pulse).
Tip: Hover the small “i” icon on a stat to read exactly what that number counts.
How to focus the activity feed on you
Section titled “How to focus the activity feed on you”The feed shows everything across your projects by default. When you only want what concerns you, narrow it down.
- Find the Activity section.
- Click Mine in the small All / Mine switch at the top right of that section.
- The feed now shows only cards assigned to you or created by you, plus comments that mention you (when someone types your name with an @ in a comment).
- Click Load more at the bottom to reveal older rows. Switch back to All at any time.
How to jump into your work
Section titled “How to jump into your work”Every section is clickable, so the dashboard doubles as a launch pad.
- Click any note to open it on the Notes page, ready to edit. Click the circle on the left to tick it off without leaving the dashboard.
- Click any activity row to open that exact card on its board.
- Click a favourite file to preview it, or a favourite folder to jump straight into that folder.
- Click a project tile to open that project.
How to add things quickly
Section titled “How to add things quickly”Two keyboard shortcuts open a quick-add panel from anywhere in Wyroo, including the dashboard.
- Press Cmd+E (on Windows, Ctrl+E) to add a note. Type one note, or paste a whole list with one note per line, and each line becomes its own note. The New note button in the My notes section opens the same panel, and the shortcut is shown next to that section’s title.
- Press Cmd+K (on Windows, Ctrl+K) to add a card. Give it a title, choose the project, and optionally assign it to a teammate. The card lands at the bottom of that project’s first column.
To start a whole new project, open the sidebar on the left and click Create project. That opens a short step-by-step wizard rather than the quick-add panel.
Tip: If a number on the dashboard looks behind, give it a moment. The activity feed and notes update on their own as work happens, and the stat charts refresh in the background every few minutes.
Practical tips
Section titled “Practical tips”- Empty sections are not broken: Favourites and other widgets stay hidden until they have content.
- The activity feed reaches every project you can see, including ones another company shares with you, so it is a quick way to catch up after time away.
- Once you are inside a project, you will find the same notes, activity feed, and stats scoped to just that project. See Spaces and Team for more on working inside a project.
