Welcome to Wyroo

Wyroo is a shared workspace for building and interior projects. It keeps the plan, the tasks, the files and the conversation for one job in a single place, so everyone works from the same picture instead of chasing email threads and scattered folders.

This page explains what Wyroo is, who it is for, and how the pieces fit together. When you are ready to set things up, head to the getting started steps next.

Wyroo is built for the whole team around a building or interior job:

  • Architects and designers who set the project up, draw the plan, and keep the overview.
  • Contractors and the trades who do the hands-on work and need to know what to do next.
  • Clients and partners you invite to follow along, share files, or approve decisions.

You do not need to be technical to use it. If you can read a list and drag a card, you can run a project in Wyroo.

Wyroo is organised in a few simple layers. Once you see how they nest, the rest of the app makes sense.

  • A company is your organisation. It holds all of your projects, your files, and the people on your team. The first person to sign up creates the company and becomes its administrator (the person who manages settings and invites others).
  • A project is one real job: a house renovation, an office fit-out, a new build. Every project belongs to a company and gets its own short code (like P-001) so it is easy to refer to.
  • A space is an area inside a project: a room, a floor, a zone, or any part you want to track on its own. A project can have as many spaces as you need.

Inside each project you get the tools to actually run the work:

  • A board: a visual list of tasks laid out in columns (for example To Do, In Progress, Done). Each task is a card you can drag from one column to the next as the work moves along.
  • Files: drawings, photos, datasheets and documents, kept with the project so nobody has to ask “where is the latest version?”.
  • A team: the people who can see and work on the project. You can also invite outside collaborators (clients or partners) and give them the right level of access.
  • Comments: the conversation. People can comment on a project, a space, or a card, mention each other, and react, so decisions stay next to the work they are about.

Tip: Think of it as company → project → space, with a board, files, a team and comments living inside each project. If you remember that, you will always know where you are.

Here is the typical path a job takes through Wyroo. You do not have to do these in order, but it is a good way to picture it.

  1. Create a project for the job. Give it a name and, if you like, an image so it is easy to spot.
  2. Add spaces for the rooms or areas you want to track separately.
  3. Build the board. Add cards for the tasks that need doing, set their priority, and assign them to the right person.
  4. Invite your team. Bring in colleagues, and invite clients or partners as collaborators when you want them involved.
  5. Do the work. Drag cards across the board as tasks progress, attach files where they belong, and use comments to keep everyone in the loop.
  6. Keep the record. The board, files and comments stay with the project, so you always have a clear history of what happened and why.
  • Everything you create lives inside your company, and only people you invite can see it.
  • Updates show up live, so when a teammate moves a card or adds a comment, you see it without refreshing.
  • Wyroo speaks several languages. You can set your own in your profile, and each person on the team can read the app in the language they prefer.

Tip: You do not need to set everything up at once. Start with one project and one board, get a feel for it, then add spaces and invite people as you go.

When you are ready, continue to the getting started steps to create your first project.
